Being the new kid on the block within the furniture and design community, is no easy task. To celebrate the coming of Red Knot’s modern affordable design options to Hawaii, we launched an Instagram contest: 500 Reasons to Follow Us. Our Instagram followers were given the chance to win a $500 Red Knot gift certificate. The response we received was amazing and it was encouraging to see we were not alone! We shared a common interest with so many people who craved fun affordable designs. And now our Red Knot community is thriving with design-savvy personalities.

At the start of October, we announced Michael Pistono as the lucky winner of 500 Reasons to Follow Us. We had the pleasure of meeting Michael at our Aiea store to snap some fun photos of him and our Red Knot team. Congratulations Michael and we look forward to seeing you again in our home!

Looking for a way to change the feel of your home, but not sure exactly where to start?

Play with color.

Color is a universal language and is psychologically proven to affect emotions and behavior. Colors in home furnishings and decor may affect your mood. It is a powerful design tool that can make your space feel bold, cozy, cheerful, calm, playful, and even dramatic. Colors can also brighten or darken a room as well as expand or shrink a space.
